Bottom trunnion

Hi All. Steve has asked if I could send out this request .if you have such an item the contact him : troutbeckkeils@gmail.com

I have a thought for modifying the bottom trunnion to polyurethane bushes and am therefore seeking any defunct units that anyone may have retained.
However as the change will include increasing the hole sizes where the original threaded bushes are fitted will render them unsuitable for subsequent exchange.
So effectively only scrap units would be appropriate.

Thanks
Steve

Classic Magazines / Handbooks

Hi All.

Matthew Lomas has asked me to send out the below message of items he has gathered over the year , as he will not be able to make our next club meeting due to back surgery he has just had on the 19th Jan, and is unable to drive for a while. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.

If you would like any items listed you can contact him : matthewlomas@google.com .

wondered if you could put an email around to our club members to see if anyone is interested in any of the magazines that have been passed down to me from my grandad.

I have in many cases full runs over decades (60’s – 90’s) for the following publications:

Classic cars
Thoroughbred and classic cars
Motor
What car
Auto car
Motorsport
Triumph world
Classic and sports car
Practical Classics
Practical classics and car restorer
Tractor and machinery

I’ve also got various car brochures including an original Triumph Stag handbook and original vitesse, spitfire and herald workshop manuals among others. It’s a fairly sizeable collection that I did start to catalogue at one point. There are some really early magazines from the 50’s too.

Happy to take enquiries about them.

Next Club Meeting 14th Feb 2018

Good morning All.

Let us hope the light covering of snow we awoke to this morning does soon go and the weather improves so we can all make it to the club meeting at the Kilton Inn on the 14th Feb (Valentines Day) and also hope this long spell of very cold weather does NOT hinder those of us that have booked to go on our Valentines  Day Run this coming Sunday 18th Feb. When we will be meeting at the Kilton Inn for coffee/tea from 9-30am then leaving to start the run about 10-30am.

Though this is our first MASC North West area club run this year, do feel free to come on the day in whatever car you feel the weather conditions permit,

Will you be in the clubs Support Vehicle Glenn ?

See you on Wednesday night.

Best regards . Neil
