Regional – London

I first decided that I wanted a Spridget while on holiday in Florida. Yes, all the

The London area’s meeting point

way to the USA to fall in love with a car built in 1958 in Oxfordshire! I decided to get a Frogeye built to my specification and only had to spend the next six months undoing all the bodges which the so called (long since out of business) “expert” managed to  include in the rebuild, at no extra charge. However in the last eleven years “Gaps”  as the car is known throughout the world of Spridgetdom, has opened a whole new world to me. I have made so many friends here in the UK and from all over the world that I thought it would be nice to get involved more deeply with the Midget & Sprite Club.

As the rep for the London Area of MASC, which meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Ace Café
www.ace-cafe-london.com (where you will find an eclectic mix of dozens of classic cars), I have the enviable task of being able to use one of the most iconic venues for  petrol heads (and food lovers) to gather. You will usually find us there from 6.00pm onwards, as our club evening piggybacks the Ace Café’s Classic Cars Night sponsored by Classic cars magazine.

In addition to looking after the London Area, I also edit the club’s monthly magazine “Mascot”. Once again this has opened a whole new world to me and enabled me to launch the photographic database of UK registered Mk1 Sprites www.frogeye.smugmug.com

Why not pay us a visit. You will be assured of a warm welcome, especially if you let me know that you are coming.
