Young Members Festival Cancelled

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the organisers of TYRE Festival have decided that the 2021 Festival will not go ahead, and will instead focus on an improved event in 2022.

TYRE Festival is a joint young members rally, organised by the TR Register Youth and Morris Minor Owners Club Young Members and supported by MASC's own Young Members group.



"Although TYRE Festival would have been a highlight of the Young Members calendar, the priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our members," says Alex Gleed, MASC Young Members rep. "The decision to postpone until 2022 by the TYRE Fest organisers is an unfortunate but necessary one.”

Lead Organiser Liam Murphy (MASC / MMOC) says: “Obviously we’re disappointed, but we believe that cancelling the event is the safest, most responsible thing to do for 2021. We would rather plan a full weekend of entertainments and have a top-quality event, than risk watering down the festival and worrying about cancellation in the event of a future wave of infections.”

Ticket holders will be contacted and given a full refund, and will be entitled to advance tickets ahead of the 2022 festival.
