Reminder for November’s Central Monthly meeting, Wednesday 1st of November, 8.30pm onwards. Tame Otter, Lichfield Road, Hopwas, Tamworth, B78 3AF.

The Christmas meal is set for December 6th at our monthly meeting 7.30pm for 8pm. The November meeting will be the last chance to book a place. Bring along your menu choice and £5 per person deposit. If you would like a place at the Christmas meal and are not coming to November’s meeting please send me your booking by e-mail no later than November 2nd.

Reminder that the Central monthly meeting venue has moved. From Wednesday 6th of September we will be meeting at, The Tame Otter, Lichfield Road, Hopwas, Tamworth, B78 3AF, 8.30pm onwards. I look forward to seeing regular Central members, new members and any MASC members that would like to visit us.

Reminder for the August Central MASC meeting. Wednesday evening 2/8/2017, Swan Inn B46 2JA, 8.30pm onwards, all MASC members (or those thinking of joining) very welcome.

Future planning menu, Syston Pistons and Props event 23rd/24th September as starters, followed by a main course and forms for the Tony Matthews Classic Tour now on 1st of October, with a desert update of the Rich Weaver Aldon rolling road day on October 14th.

Looking forward to a dry warm evening when hopefully we can sit outside.

A reminder for this Sunday’s events 2nd July. As well as the regular Middleton Hall monthly meeting near Tamworth (B78 2AE)10.30am onwards there is also Lichfield Cars in the Park, members who want to go are to meet 9/9.15am at the Bowling Green Pub, Friary Road, Lichfield WS13 6QJ, for the short drive into Beacon Park. Entry is free if you arrive in your classic, once inside we should be able to park together

I understand Kent MASC are arranging a visit to Bletchley Park on Sunday August the 13th, it is a 60’s day, some people will be dressed in costume (optional). They have kindly invited other regions to join them. There will be a cut off date for numbers, probably the second week in July, so If you are interested please e-mail me (central.masc@live.com), I should have more details of costs, by the time of our next…….

I understand the bottom of Station Road in Whitacre Heath (turning from Blythe Road, Coleshill / Shustoke direction) is still blocked whilst they repair the water main. So please arrive along Station Road via the Kingsbury direction to save the frustration of a large diversion. Fingers crossed the wind and rain will have subsided and the sun comes out for our meeting 🙂 see you there, Dave W.
