Donington Historic Festival

Members of the Midget and Sprite Club can obtain a discount on tickets for this event by using this link

https://shop.msv.com/DisplayCar/Register/DP-18-Historic?club=99

When you first go onto the page using this link you will be asked to register and create a password if you don’t already have an MSV account – you only have to do that once. If you already have an MSV account then you just need to login on this page.

The club bookings are handled through the Display Vehicle Registration system, so once you are logged in you will be taken to the display booking system and presented with the display car booking terms and conditions. Tick the box at the bottom of the page to say that you accept the rules for displaying a vehicle.

Select your club
You will be asked to confirm which club you are attending with. If you have clicked on your club’s unique URL shown at the top of this document, your club name should already show in the box (see ‘Select who are you are attending with’ in the image left, where the Austin Healey Club appears as an example). If your club name is not automatically in that box, click on the arrow to open the drop-down club list and select your club. It is important that you select the right club.

Select the day or days on which you are going.

IMPORTANT – the Display Vehicle Pass also acts as the event entry ticket for the driver of the vehicle. By ‘buying’ a Display Vehicle Pass you are actually buying your entry ticket and getting the parking pass for your car for the infield*. You will see the full prices displayed, but once you progress through the booking system your 50% club discount will be applied.

Tell us about your club display car*

You then need to complete the required information on your club display car*. You will also be asked to upload a photograph of your car. If you don’t have one readily to hand, it’s fine to upload a generic car image but it means we won’t be able to see what you are bringing and you will miss out on the opportunity to have your car mentioned in our event publicity. -. You do not need to complete the ‘background information about this vehicle’ box unless your car is particularly interesting and you would like us to be aware of it.

 Next steps and further tickets

If you only need a Display Vehicle Pass/driver entry ticket for one vehicle you can now press ‘Submit Request’ and proceed through the payment system.

If you only need a Display Vehicle Pass/driver entry ticket for one vehicle but want to buy additional, non-driver tickets at the 50% discount for passengers, click on ‘Submit Request’ then select the option on the following page to progress to buying additional tickets – these will be at the club discount price.

If you need more than one Display Vehicle Pass/driver entry ticket (for example if you are booking for yourself and a friend and you will both be driving your cars to the event), please select ‘Add another vehicle’ and add the details of the second car and its driver. You can do this for up to six cars and drivers if you need to. Then click on ‘Submit Request’ and follow the process as outlined above.

WHEN WILL I GET MY TICKETS?

These will come in two separate stages:

 1. Your passenger tickets will be E-tickets will be available immediately upon purchase for you to download, unless you select the option to have your tickets posted to you (a charge applies).

2. The Display Vehicle Pass/driver entry ticket will be emailed to you two weeks before the event. This is because we allocate club parking positions once club ticket sales close, and your club parking code will appear on your Display Vehicle Pass/driver entry ticket.

*NOT BRINGING A CAR TO DISPLAY ON YOUR CLUB STAND?

We appreciate that sometimes club members attend the event but don’t have a car ready to display on their stand. If you are not planning on bringing a car to display at the event, please complete the display car information anyway, even if it’s for a vehicle that isn’t eligible for the infield – you need to do this to generate your own entry ticket –  but make a note in the ‘background information’ box on the vehicle info screen that you will park the car in the public car park. You will still receive a Display Vehicle Pass/entry ticket (sent out two weeks before the event as outlined above) but please do not use it to park in the infield – please take your car to the public car park and then use your Display Vehicle Pass/entry ticket to gain admission to the event.
